Android, yeah this green one above :P is a linux based operating system developed by Google!!
It has gained too much popularity and gained heights within a short period of time!! And now it is everywhere! From smartphones to tablets, cameras to miniusb are now working on android!!
And more so ever is that it is developing at a really fast pace!! Within a period of 3 months there will a launch a newer OS version and had google just released the ICS for the phones, the JB is coming running after!!
Anyway this is just the scenario what is going on here and with the gadgets and tech stuff getting cheaper and affordable day by day by the entering of the new eager companies, it is now being very confusing for 1 to choose the right thing for himself!!
Now talking about the Android Smartphones, which have now become the biggest fuss in the city!! The day you get yourself first Android, you will say WOW!!
Now what u need to do after you get it!!
1) Yeah insert the sim and power on the device!! :P
2) Android is quite a lot connected to the www so be sure you have a good data plan activated on your phone as it will take huge amount of data!! So as soon as you switch it on, you should add your google account to the phone!! This is in particular important because it acts as a backup and it will sync all your day to day stuff online to google servers. So login and go to settings privacy and turn on the autosync feature!!
This will do 2 things, one the sim contacts will be synced and two, all your google contacts will be available in your phone!!
So now you will never need to worry about your contacts as they are safe on the google servers and attached to your account!!
3) The next thing you can do is setting up your sd card as you won't like your phone without an sd!! After setting it you may like to download an app or two for you as per usage!!
4) So head over to the play store in the menu!! And browse through 700000 applications, yeah that's a huge number!!
5) Finally after setting it all up, you can go and personalize your phone accordingly by changing your wallpaper, lock pattern for security, display brightness and other stuffs from the settings menu!!
That is it now you are ready with your phone and head up to the net to enjoy more of your phone!!
